On the personal side, it also supports displaying your own photos in different formats, slideshows and collages, using the Amazon Photos app or voice commands through Alexa. The goal is to make the screen feel like a living part of the room rather than an “off” state.

Frames you can change as your style changes

The framing system is a big part of the “artline” concept. Amazon says the TV comes with a frame, and additional frames are available in ten colors, with simple installation so you can swap the look as your space evolves.

The new Fire TV experience (2026)

Ember Artline launches with the new Fire TV experience (2026 release), featuring a modern design that focuses on getting you to content faster. Expect more pinned apps, dedicated content categories, and a layout that’s meant to reduce the time spent scrolling.

One of the most “living room friendly” features is the sensor system. Amazon says its custom Omnisense technology uses built-in sensors to wake the display when you enter so you immediately see artwork or can jump into watching, then turns the screen off when you leave to save energy.

Privacy controls built in

Amazon emphasizes privacy protections and controls, including a switch that electronically disconnects the microphones. If you want voice features sometimes but not always, that physical-style control matters.

Connections for real-world setups

Ember Artline includes four HDMI inputs for things like soundbars, consoles, and other gear. It also supports AirPlay for sharing content from compatible devices to the TV.

Below I’ll show handy tips to make the most out of Microsoft 365 Copilot. I'm using it everyday now, and I encourage everyone to try it out. If you're already working inside the Microsoft ecosystem, I'll show you some prompt examples to try. I've also included links to free AI training resources below. So in 2026, get serious about AI upskilling by learning what Microsoft 365 Copilot can do.               

AI upskilling explained

When I say AI upskilling, I’m talking about changing how you get work done, with help from AI. We these new Microsoft 365 Copilot skills, you'll improve the quality of research, writing, analysis, and presentations you deliver. Microsoft 365 Copilot runs where you already work and respects your existing data permissions. You just need to know how to use it. If you have the will to learn, I'll show you some Microsoft 365 Copilot tips I've learned from my own experiences. First, let's explain what it can do.                                

What Microsoft 365 Copilot actually does

Copilot is an AI assistant that works alongside the Microsoft 365 apps you use every day. Ask it to draft, summarize, transform, or analyze your files, emails, and documents. It weaves in the right context from your documents, emails, meetings, and chats to produce relevant results. This is all done with your permission so you have full control on what you want it to do. Think of yourself as a Manager, and Microsoft 365 Copilot as someone who reports to you. Your job is manage their work, and output. It can do so much on your behalf if you take advantage of it. You'll then have more time and energy to focus on the big picture stuff, rather than drafting PowerPoint presentations from scratch. Those days are long gone. 

Here's where Microsoft 365 Copilot can help right away in your daily work life:

  • Word: Draft proposals, rewrite in a specific tone, or generate executive summaries. 
  • Excel: Explain formulas, spot trends, and create charts from plain‑language prompts. 
  • PowerPoint: Turn a brief or a Word doc into a deck with speaker notes and design suggestions. 
  • Outlook: Summarize long email threads and draft on‑brand replies. 
  • Teams: Recap meetings with decisions and action items you can share instantly.

    • Try these prompts for Microsoft 365 Copilot

    Drop these into Copilot (adjust the bracketed bits):

    1. Client prep (Word/Outlook/Teams):  

    2. “From the attached file and my last 3 email threads with [Client], create a one‑page brief with goals, open questions, decisions made, and next steps. Keep it in my voice.” 

    3. Data pulse check (Excel):
      “Analyze [this workbook] and list top 5 trends, anomalies, and likely drivers. Visualize each as a chart.” 

    4. Deck build (PowerPoint):
      “Turn the attached Word doc into a 10‑slide executive deck with a strong opener, 3 key insights, and a call‑to‑action slide.” 

    5. Inbox triage (Outlook):
      “Summarize this thread in 5 bullets, tag the risks, and draft a reply proposing next steps.”

    What about privacy and security?

    The fact is, people are already using AI at work. But for businesses, privacy and security around AI usage is particularly important. Copilot respects your existing permissions and doesn’t use your prompts or responses to train foundation models. This is critical for businesses with employees who use AI in the workplace. With Microsoft 365 Copilot, prompts and responses are protected under Microsoft’s enterprise data commitments. In short, Copilot applies security, compliance, and auditing controls you already rely on in Microsoft 365. The important thing is getting employees to use it rather than other AI tools in the office. It's already inside Microsoft 365, everyone just needs to take advantage of it. To do that, you first need to learn how to use it.

    Intel Core Ultra Series 3: What it means for your next laptop 

    I just got back from CES 2026, where Intel unveiled the Core Ultra Series 3. This ushers in the era of AI PCs. Here’s the short, non‑techie version of what you need to know:

    The big wins for everyday users

    • Longer battery life. Intel is touting up to 27 hours of Netflix streaming on a reference design. Expect laptops that stay unplugged noticeably longer. Don't forget, real life usage varies by model, screen brightness, and settings. But I think you can leave your charger at home. 

    • Snappier performance. Tasks like opening apps, juggling tabs, video calls, and photo edits should feel faster, with Intel claiming up to 60% better multi‑threaded performance versus last year’s models. If you multitask, you'll be able to have a lot of different things open at the same time

    • Better built‑in graphics. Even without a separate graphics card, these chips bring a bigger boost for casual gaming, streaming, and creator apps. Intel says integrated graphics are up to 77% faster on top configurations. 

    • Smarter, on‑device AI. There’s a dedicated AI engine (an “NPU”) that handles things like background blur, live captions, photo cleanup, and more. NPU handles all those tasks that we've become accustom to. Seriouly, who wants to show their bedroom in a work zoom call? Personally, I have a great home studio setup, but my background for zoom calls is bad. And I do a lot of TV News interviews so I need that blur effect. 

    When can you get one?

    • Soon. Pre‑orders started during CES, and the first laptops begin shipping January 27 (with many more coming through the first half of 2026). 

    HandyAndy Buying Tip:

  • Look for “Intel Core Ultra Series 3” on the spec sheet and keyboard sticker. 

    • If you want the most punch for gaming and creative work, check for Core Ultra X7 or X9 models. They include Intel’s higher‑end integrated graphics. For someone like myself, I'd go with the X9. I edit a lot of videos so I need the best Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Processor out there. After all, I deserve the finer things in life ;)
